Our Story
A lot of HVAC companies will glance at your system, guess at the problem, and move on to the next. If the guess is wrong, it's your problem and not theirs. I started Lakehead Heating & Cooling because I got tired of watching that happen.
The premise is simple: every system gets a real diagnosis before we touch a single part. If we don't know what's actually wrong, we're not done looking yet. No issue is too small to take seriously, and none is too big to walk away from. We use real diagnostic tools instead of guesswork, and we fix what's actually broken, not whatever's easiest to swap out. Part of the job is explaining what we found and why, so you're not stuck just taking our word for it.
Sometimes a system's just done, and the right move is a new one. When that's the case, we install it right and leave it looking like it belongs there.
Systems don't usually fail for no reason. Most of the time it's a corner someone cut, a repair that should've been a replacement, maintenance that got skipped, or a glaring sign nobody caught. There's a story behind every home and every system, and finding it is our job.
